O+R | Gloster House

Olivia and Richard, the most sweetest kindest couple. They first met on a graduate program and became fast friends growing closer as the months went by, sharing a love of all things sports and socializing. While over in the states for work, Richard invited Olivia to join him for some Christmas shopping in New York. He planned a wonderful day, a helicopter trip over the city followed by an evening cruise on the hudson, dropping the knee in front of lady liberty. 8 years later they got married at the wonderful and one of my favs Gloster House in Birr, Co. Offaly.

Their wedding was very elegant, chic and relaxed. So relaxed! After speaking together at their final consultation we decided to do a first look shoot before the guests arrived as they were marring in late November. This ensured they had lovely portraits done with the beautiful morning light prior to the ceremony. One very special touch for the first look was a jumper which Olivia’s mother knit for her to wear for the pictures. Richard wore his grandfather's gold cufflinks on the day which was very sentimental and meaningful for both him and his father.

As all the portraits where captured in the morning they had a very chilled long reception with only family pictures to capture. It was fuelled with beautiful music, gin and lots of fun. Equally the speeches where just as fun as the couple. With all guests dancing with giant blow up toys into the wee hours!
